This springtime wedding at the Village Green Resort couldn't have been more perfect. Dusty pinks and steel blues came together seamlessly, creating a beautifully calm and serene color palette for this cool, rainy day Oregon wedding!

Before this wedding, I had not yet heard of the Village Green Resort and Gardens. Let me just say that this venue is absolutely stunning, even in the rain! There's a perfect little room just off the Cascadia Ballroom for the wedding party to get ready, plenty of space for 100 or more people inside the ballroom, and a gorgeous wedding garden for outdoor weddings in warmer weather. There's all sorts of cute details and décor inside, including a vintage telephone booth, and beautiful blooms throughout the grounds. It's easy to see why Steven and Colleen chose this gem of an Oregon wedding venue!
Just a few finishing touches...
The staff at the Village Green did a fantastic job putting together the reception space. These dusty pink cloth napkins rolled into the shape of roses were a classy touch. We just loved photographing these details!
Colleen's father, Terry Dowling, created the couple's wedding cake. Just look at this beauty!
Their vintage cake topper adds a very personal touch, too--it was used first by Colleen's grandparents in the 1950's, and later used by Colleen's parents when they wed.
An antique typewriter was a great spot to take a few shots of the rings...
Oh, that vintage telephone booth I mentioned? We had to do a few photos in this spot!
Steven and Colleen danced their first dance as husband and wife to "All of Me" by John Legend.
